PvP view:
I want to know what the classes can do in PvP, couldn't care less if they can tank or not. Assas get the hate in PvE and are still quite useful in PvP.
Hating Des before even playing the class is quite stupid, but I too fear it's gonna be awefully hard for them to get groups in PvE(=slower skill acquisition, bad for PvP). Robes on a melee char sounds scary . If this is the case, Paragon FTW.

There is this su consioud mentality also A warrior with his size and show off armour comes accross as someone who can hold up to a gang
On the other hand robes on a Devrish with its slim body structure doesnt come off as some one as good as a warrior ,

A dumb Warrior tend to have the Leeroy Jenkins syndrome. As soon as he enter a room he will run around aggroing every mob possible, and then running back to it's group thinking that he can tank everything. This will obviously end with the death of everyone.
Dumb assassins just tend to get into the fray and stay there without any protection and get killed over and over, what's a problem for him only and some Energy waste from the monks.
In Elite missions you have 3/4 Monks, 4 monks healing a dumb assassin isn't an energy issue at all, and after you realize that he is dumb as hell just don't heal him and let him get killed, since he's dumb he probably isn't helping, and hard res him after the battle. Simple as that.

Well said!..
I dont know what all the bitchin is about with "zomg another melee class".. the melee class is severly in the minority!.. with there being only ONE melee class in the core classes I can see every Chapter feature at least one melee class.. there are far too many spell caster/ ranged characters.

Please, tell me your joking. Frenzy is the best IAS skilla warrior has. The only ting wrong with it is double damage. But is double damage a big deal? no. If your taking lots of damage, you simply switch to your cancel stance. Observe some GvGs, tell me if you see a warrior without frenzy.

Thing is ANet made Assassins a hit and run class. Dervish are meant to be in the centre of battle with warriors. Unfortunately the assassins who insist on proving their ego driven personas are capable of tanking. The assassins self-destructed themselves when people acted like they could be tanks.
